I build systems that make your social media strategy clear, effective, and sustainable — so you can show up online with purpose and without burnout.

Founder of The Department of Clarity, a social-first messaging studio for people with ideas worth slowing down for.

I'm Elizabeth

The Department of Clarity

I find the through-line, protect the nuance, and translate it into a content strategy your audience will recognize, remember, and act on.

What I Do & Why My Strategy Works

My process blends editorial thinking with smart system design. I codify your point of view, pinpoint your unique voice and market positioning, and show you exactly how to differentiate yourself in messaging and strategy to stand out in a sea of competitors.

This Means

You’ll spend a lot less time managing content and more time doing the work you care about most.

Elizabeth helped me clarify how I talk and think about my work

without making it feel like a cookie-cutter branding exercise or pushing me into someone else’s framework.

Writing Coach and Author

My parents said I should have been a lawyer. My husband says I could have been a detective.

I spent two decades crafting content for high-impact podcasts, television, and multimedia projects.

Where I Come From (And How It Shapes My Work)

Before launching The Department of Clarity,

When I shifted my focus to social, I kept seeing the same pattern: brilliant people with important messages—and content that didn’t perform.

Some had a calendar but no real plan. Others had a plan but no real strategy. And many were following advice built for a different audience - optimized for attention, not substance.

Social Media strategy that respects substance and systems that save time.

My antidote

I’ve always been happiest knee-deep in the creative process shaping words and visuals to make ideas land.

What I Love About This Work

I get to work with people who care deeply about what they do: the kind of people who stay up late thinking, tweaking, trying to make it better.

Helping them clarify what they want to say and find a way to say it so it connects with others never gets old.

If this sounds like  the kind of partner you’re looking for…
